Dear friends and enemies,
Yet another week passed. Do you feel your life is moving too fast, just like mine? You wake up in the morning, going through your morning routine, go to school/work, then suddenly the night comes, and you find yourself wondering whether 24 hours a day does exist.
Well, I do. I need to slow it down a bit, by inserting more <> activities to my days. But let’s recap this 7th week of 2018 first.
What I have been up to
I enrolled in an online class (Udemy) early this year. It was based on my curiosity and maybe a little bit of me challenging myself. There is no weekly schedule and no limit of when to finish the videos. Procrastination at its best, I have only watched part 3 out of 50. Haha, it is hard to fight back, don’t you think? Are you procrastinating on something as well? But, let’s keep trying and finish what we have started. Just remember why you started it at the first time >_0
What I can give as the week’s testimony
My prayer for 2 weeks is suddenly being rejected on last minute. It feels bad. My heart tries to make peace for the case, but my brain can’t. As human, I am still feeling down. And life must go on, plan for next target or do a backup plan. But just in the needs of time, God shows His master plan which is a-millimeter above awesome! And it gives you more than you can imagine. At His time. So, every time you got rejected, keep going forward as you are on the right track, according to His plan.
What inspires me
This friend of mine inspires me. She went to Nusa Tenggara Timur as volunteer, doing volunteer plus travel weekend. Find out more yourself: Ruang Belajar ID. And as they are teaching and sharing books to school students there, they can enjoy nature at its best, in the not-so-touristic area, what we called ‘hidden gem’. Inspired by how she managed to optimize her youth doing positive things on holidays, while travelling across Indonesia, I am starting to gather volunteering opportunity as well.
PS: I have decided that I want to pray for other people this week, I want to pray for you. Do you have something specific that I can pray for?
Written on a blissful Sunday Morning.
